![]() The other pluses we saw were the security it offered since it is membership only ( you can have friends of course). You do not have to worry about crazies or wild bunches of people coming in late at night carrying on.I think that also will help in keeping the grounds in tact and not vandalized since everyone there has a stake in the campground. The staff sales people were very genuine and friendly. Next details are the membership idea, We liked it and felt that we could get used to the idea of having a consistently clean and modern facility where all of you share the same likes and love for the outdoors and may actually be able to make new friends where you can look forward to seeing over and throughout the year. Still enjoying the mother nature and all the benefits of camping but with a cleaner more modern approach. A new playground and water area are also planned, This does take camping into a whole new area. They feature a large deck over looking the river and a gas grill picnic table ( or like the ones on the river camp sites) I do not recall. ![]() These were really Nice ! One cabin currently exists and is the model for many to be built all along the riverside in various size bedrooms. some were already being converted to Super sites, They will all have concrete pads and wrought iron tables and chairs, large new fire pits and other higher quality amenities. They have many sights directly on the rivers edge that were very large and had everything you need. The sights are a little small but we did not actually camp this trip the weather was not cooperating. A large wood burning fireplace and a flat screen TV,This more resembles a Lodge than a community center. The main room is Huge with some arcade games ( but not too many where it feels like a game room.Tables and couches and comfy chairs all around. The Activity center or Lodge houses the camp store and has what ever you might need or ran out of conveniently there and priced reasonable. All beautifully tiled throughout, a far cry from ANY campground bathhouse. Large and clean full showers hand free dryers and touch free sinks. They do have a nice size pool and a hot tub, a bathhouse that was so modernized it rivals any Hotel i have been too. The grounds are smaller than some of the parks we are used to mainly state parks. I have visited a few time in the last handful of years. My wife and I are just getting back into camping and we have never been here to Mohican Country together. We were given a free stay at this resort for 3 days and 2 nights if we were willing to tour the park and listen to a salesperson talk about membership.
